Only an hour north of Charlotte and west of Winston-Salem, North Carolina River Riders offers trips on the Yadkin River May through October. Sit back in tube, kayak, or canoe and float on the one of North Carolina's longest, most picturesque rivers. The Yadkin’s blend of leisurely stretches and whitewater clips make for perfect afternoon on the water.
At North Carolina River Riders, we offer tubes, kayaks, canoes, and inflatable trackers for single trips or an all day pass. We provide the personal flotation device (PFD) and a shuttle. All you have to do is show up and enjoy! Let us share our experience and knowledge of the river and the beautiful Yadkin Valley will do the rest.
Make a day of your trip to Elkins. Located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, visitors can enjoy numerous hiking trails, wineries, scenic cycling, farmers markets, restaurants and local culture.
