 North Carolina River Riders in Ronda, NC offers trips on the Yadkin River from May to October. Sit back in a tube, kayak, inflatable tracker or canoe and float on one of the longest, most picturesque waterways in the state. The river is located just an hour away from the North of Charlotte and West of Winston-Salem, which makes it accessible to anyone around the area

At North Carolina River Riders, we offer tubes, kayaks, canoes, and inflatable trackers. We also provide our guests with a personal flotation device (PFD) and a shuttle service to and from the river. Let us share our experience and knowledge of the river and the beautiful Yadkin Valley will do the rest.

In addition to the refreshing trip to the river, you can enjoy scenic cycling as well as visiting numerous hiking trails, wineries, farmer’s markets, restaurants, and local culture around Elkin, which is located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. What to Wear

To have an enjoyable and safe adventure, we encourage you to have proper footwear with straps around the heel. Flip-flops are not permitted.  

  Please Note: WE REQUIRE ALL customers off the water by 6:00pm. Any groups still on the water at 6:00pm can be charged a late fee up to $50.00 per person. 

What Not to Bring

As part of our effort of preserving the beauty and cleanliness of the area, bringing Styrofoam and Glass is strictly prohibited. You can bring coolers and rent one of our Cooler Tubes. Don't have a cooler? No problem. We also rent Floating Coolers as well.

WATER LEVELS & UPDATES

UPDATES & WATER LEVELS  for 8/8-8/9

Due to a down tree across the river on our 4.5 mile trip thats causing a very dangerous strainer in the river all trips have been moved to the 2.5 mile trip. Our 4.5 mile tubing trip is closed. The 4.5 mile tube trackers trip will be reopened by Sunday August 9th. 

Our 2.5 mile trip is taking roughly 2 hours on Saturday 8/8.  Will update Sundays times then. 

Reminder: WE DO NOT ACCEPT WALK-INS OR PETS.
